Everything comes well packaged and is comparable to how most other mops are packaged, so nothing extraordinary with the packaging - really, its just a mop, right? 

Well, of course! But we did notice a few things about the design of the mop itself that really gives us a sense that we're really in 2018. 

The microfiber pad is constructed really well, it almost feels like a microfiber pad you would use to polish your car. The only difference is that this pad feels a lot more durable - the manufacturer claims the mop pad can handle 1,000 uses before replacement but our results show that its best to replace around 300-500 uses. Still very good, considering the replacement pads are cheap.

Although conventional mops clean thoroughly, it takes a lot more effort to get that polished look on your floors. With the Spud Buddy, the results are almost instant. 

The other thing we liked was the durable aluminum pole it comes with. It doesn't feel like a budget mop even though it is. Don't get us wrong, it's not a commercial mop, but it certainly tackles most floors with ease. 

The Spray Container is an appropriate size to clean even the largest of spaces. I was able to mop my modest 200sqm home without having to refill the Spray Container with more liquid, not once!

The trigger handle is also soft. I actually prefer that it doesn't take a lot of effort to dispense your cleaning fluid from the detachable Spray Container to the microfiber pads. 

Don't spray too much though! You don't want to oversaturate your microfiber pads. I found that one to two clicks on the handle is good enough for half of a living room or a small bathroom.
